Frequently Asked Questions

We often get asked:

TGAI is a non-profit organization focused on improving the lives of people in rural communities across Nigeria. We aim to achieve five Sustainability Development Goals: No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Good Health and Wellbeing, Quality Education, and Clean Water and Sanitation.

TGAI started as a photography documentation hobby in 2017, capturing the daily activities and struggles of people at the grassroots level in Kwara State, Nigeria. The compelling stories told through these pictures attracted global attention and eventually led to the formation of TGAI.

TGAI primarily relies on social media crowdfunding and donations from family and friends. These funds are used to carry out various projects aimed at improving the lives of people in rural communities.

You can contribute to TGAI by making a donation or volunteering your time and skills. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps us reach more communities and make a bigger impact.

Since its inception, TGAI has touched over 10000 lives in different rural communities across Nigeria. We have provided housing for the elderly, donated relief materials to widows and children, provided clean water to several communities, organized health seminars and campaigns, and offered scholarships and school materials to students.
