MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

In less than a month, we started sourcing funds to help the villagers of Baale village to get access to safe water.

In less than a month, we took to our social media pages asking for public help in constructing borehole water for Baale Village.

In less than a month, our budget was met with donations made by people from different tribes, religions, and social statuses. In this single mission, we all came together as one.

Yesterday, the commissioning of the water project took place. We were able to put smiles on the faces of Baale villagers.

With your help, The Grassroots Aid Initiative has achieved the construction of the first borehole in the year 2021 and the 11th since we started in 2017.

For this, we say a very big “THANK YOU!!!”.

BAALE VILLAGE WATER PROJECT EXPENDITURE

Since we started soliciting donations for each of the water projects we executed at various villages, we have always deemed it fit to be transparent with our expenses.

Baale Village construction will be no different. We budgeted a total cost of 1.3 million naira for the successful construction of the borehole water and that’s the exact amount we spent.

The Grassroots Aid Initiative will continue to be transparent in our expenses as we owe it to the public to account for every penny spent.
